Your PC, prepared for you
Choosing a refurbished computer also means choosing the team that prepares it and supports you after your purchase. At PC-Occasion.be, we prepare your computer according to the configuration you select when placing your order.
Inspection, configuration, cleaning, installation and testing: discover the care that goes into your PC before it is shipped.
Arrival and initial inspection
We receive our computers in batches from partner companies. These devices have already undergone testing before reaching us.
On arrival, we carry out a visual inspection to check their general condition. This first step comes before the preparation and checks we perform in our workshop when you place your order.
A configuration based on your choices
When you place your order, we prepare your computer according to the options selected on its product page: memory (RAM), SSD capacity and keyboard, depending on the options available for the model.
We make sure the configuration matches your order, whether you need your computer for everyday use, your studies or your business.
Keyboards are original or factory-repainted. We never use stickers on the keys.
Thorough cleaning, inside and out
Every computer is thoroughly cleaned, both inside and out. We remove dust and clean the surfaces, including the keyboard, screen and frequently touched areas.
This step is an integral part of our preparation: you receive a device that is clean and pleasant to use from the moment you start using it.
Windows and essential software installed
On Windows PCs, we reinstall the operating system, then update Windows and the BIOS, the built-in software that manages the computer’s basic functions.
We also install several useful everyday applications:
- ONLYOFFICEFor working on documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
- 7-ZipFor opening and creating compressed files.
- VLCFor playing videos and audio files.
- Google ChromeFor browsing the Internet.
Your PC is prepared to help you get started. You can then add your accounts, files and personal applications.
Checks after preparation
Once preparation is complete, we check your computer’s essential functions, depending on the features fitted to the model:
- Screen
- Keyboard
- Touchpad
- Wi-Fi
- Webcam
- Microphone
- Speakers
- USB ports
- HDMI and other connections
These checks cover everyday tasks: connecting to the Internet, joining a video call, plugging in a peripheral or using an external monitor.
A final visual inspection completes these checks before packing.
Careful packaging for transport
Every laptop comes with its charger. The device and its accessories are carefully packed in a box with suitable protective materials to limit movement and protect them during transport.
The parcel is then labelled and handed over to the carrier for delivery.
